Wow! It’s February already, last month seemed to just zoom by. I for one am glad for seeing lighter mornings, please hurry up spring!
Well since January is normally the month of doom and gloom, mine has been pretty good. It has been super busy and all about getting back into my normal routine, but I think I’m feeling very positive at the moment so there has been no January blues around here!
It has been a super busy month on the blog and I re-launched my One Step Closer to Healthy series to kick start a far more healthier lifestyle in January. It’s full of fitness advice, healthy inspiration and practical tips, so take a look. I also created another blog series called Fashion Friday, exploring my passion for fashion.
As I have explained in a previous blog post I have really enjoyed getting back into my fitness routine and generally being more active. I seem to be in a good place at the moment and managed to get back into my skinny jeans, yay!
I’ve also blogged some beautiful recipes last month, including this one, which seems to have been quite popular:
There was also my Raspberry and Orange Muffins – gluten and refined sugar free, Roasted Squash, Aubergine and Chickpea Curry, Curried Carrot and Squash Soup, Banana and Apple Butterscotch Green Smoothie.
My top picks from my posts in January:
One Step Closer to Healthy: Budget friendly fitness
January recap: Eating, body and fitness – thank you for your awesome s on this post!
{Friday Fashion} Fashionably Fit – fashion inspiration for your workout wardrobe
One step closer to healthy: Eating healthy on a budget
My top 10 healthy snack recipes
The blog was featured on the , where I gave my top tips for beating the January blues. I was delighted to be amongst so many other fantastic bloggers.
This month is full of unexpected changes for me, which I will discuss later on the blog. Rather than fighting these changes I’m just going to run with it and go with the flow – what will be will be. Even if the changes are unexpected, I’m going to make sure that I make the most of it and be successful. That is generally my goal for February, to just let things be and see where these new changes take me. I’m going to sit back and enjoy the ride!
How was January for you? What are you most looking forward to in February?
