Since receiving my little collection of I have been in tea heaven!
The lovely people at Cosy Tea generously sent me:
Fairtrade Organic Black Tea;
Fairtrade Organic Black Tea with Bergamot;
Organic Rooibos Tea with Vanilla;
Organic Chamomile Infusion;
Organic Chunmee Green Tea with Jasmine;
Organic Peppermint Infusion;
Organic Fruit Infusion with Echinacea;
Organic Sencha Green Tea with Lemon.
Each box contains 20 individually wrapped unbleached tea bags. I love the knitting fever that is associated with these teas, an attempt evoke a sense of cosiness whilst drinking them perhaps?
All the of the teas are certified organic by the Organic Trust and some of the black teas are fair trade too. All of the teas are equally delicious. Some of the flavours are not really extraordinary and I have come across the Jasmine Green Tea and the Lemon Green tea many times before form other tea brands. However, my favourite flavours from this little bunch were definitely the Blueberry, Roobios with Vanilla and the Chamomile teas.
The Roobios and Blueberry is delicious and have seen a few ideas of using these particular teas to make some tasty desserts. One idea was to poach some pears using some brewed tea alongside some additional spices such as star anise and cinnamon. Yum!!!
You can pick up a box of Cosy Tea for £1.75, which I think is a great price for delicious and organic teas. The only downside of these teas is there accessibility. Currently they are available online from Coffee Buyer.
You can read all of my other product reviews here, but for now I’m off to make myself a huge mug of Roobios with Vanilla.
Adios and have a great evening! 🙂
Have you tried Cosy Tea before? Does the organic or fair trade aspect of these teas appeal to you? What flavour do you think you would like the most?
